As a Baptist Church we support BMS World Mission and we do this in many ways.
We have links with supported partner workers in Nepal who work for an education organisation, KISC Equip, namely Dil Kharki and Krishna Bahadur Bohara. We receive regular updates about their work, which are shared with the fellowship. In addition we are also linked to a long serving British couple, who are based in Gif -sur – Yvette near Paris. They are Philip and Rosemary Halliday. They have both local and national roles in France.
We also raise funds for BMS through direct giving from the church and from the Harvest Appeal each year which is for various projects where BMS has connections. Once a quarter there is a magazine called Engage which is free. If you are online you can sign up for weekly updates.
In addition we have links with The Rebirth of Kosova Church in Gjakove. There was trip there in 2025 by a team of 3 who went to support the opening of the new church building. Previously there was a mission trip there in 2018 when a team of 4 went and another in 2019 with a team of 5. They have great work among their young people and the children. They have also planted a church in another nearby town of Kline. They minister to poorer families through monthly gifts of food parcels and reach out to their local community in so many ways.
We also support the work of AIM (Africa Inland Mission). The Pughs, who have visited from time to time are now part of the team working in the UK for the mission. Dave and Jan Morris also became part of this organisation after Dave’s retirement.
We also have connections with the Dalit Freedom Network who work among these marginalised people in India.
As a church we are affiliated to Open Doors, a charity that helps persecuted Christians in many different ways in countries worldwide.
