Hope Centre: our new church project
We are on the move!
We have received planning permission from Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council to erect a new building – The Hope Centre – on a piece of derelict land on Bradley Road close to the Stourside Medical Centre.
We are now in the complicated process of turning our hopes and dreams into reality.
The plans developed by our architect envisage a single storey, easy access building with a mix of rooms to meet the needs of those who might wish to use the Centre. One large space will form the worship space for our church family, Hope Baptist Church.
There will be plenty of car parking and we will landscape the site to fit in with the greening of the canal basin area.
We hope it will be a place where anyone from the local community and further afield will feel welcome.
There is already a large community in the immediate vicinity – Beauty Bank.
We are also aware that a lot of new housing in the immediate area, so we will be hoping to welcome lots of newcomers too as a vibrant new community begins to take shape.
